Artist Update

The Community Bank of the Chesapeake in Fredericksburg downtown in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts has sponsored rotating art shows in their public areas.  Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts (FCCA) Members may apply to be included in the changing shows.  Sally Rhone Kubarek was represented by 2 encaustic pieces in the October 2017 to January 2018 show.

She was represented in the January through April 2018 show by a watercolor entitled “Italian Thistle.”

She was represented in the May through September 2018 show by a picture created by glazed fired tiles cemented to a background entitled “Carrousel I.”

She was represented in the October 2018 through January 2019 show by two entires: a watercolor, “Flowers in the Wall,” and  an acrylic painting, “The Answer in Blowin’ in the Wind.”
