The prints featured are hand pulled serigraphs sometimes called silk-screens.

A serigraph is produced by creating a stencil on a mesh screen and pushing a paint color through the open areas onto a layer below. For each color in the finished print a separate stencil on a new screen is required.

An edition of hand pulled serigraphs (unlike other print methods) will not be identical. There are numerous variables that will cause each print to have its own personality. Thus the samples shown will be very close to others in the edition, but there will be minor variations in color and line, given the nature of the process.

Serigraphs can and are printed on just about any surface. The prints shown here are all printed on paper, however, various kinds. The type of paper has been included in the individual print description along with the title, the image size, the print number, and the cost.
